Abstract

Ai Laellah Sopyani, Implementation of Public Relations in West Java Provincial Government website (descriptive analysis in www.jabarprov.go.id ) West Java Provincial Government website is an information media which is created by the West Java Provincial Government in purpose to give information that concern about policies and services for West Java society to create the West Java society become an independent society, corresponding to the government policy about information disclosure constitution 2008. The Public Relations Bureau of West Java Provincial Government in this case have an active role as a division which contributes in content management because Public Relations is a part of government institution and agency management. This research intends to know how the policy which have appointed by the West Java Provincial Government and intend to know how to manage a website as a form of Implementation of Electronic Public Relation also to know the content management in the West Java Provincial Government website as a means of disseminating information to the West Java society. The research method that used is descriptive analysis with qualitative approach and also apply the paradigm of constructivism, then the technique that used in this research is data collections, passive participatory observation, deep interview, and document study techniques. The steps of this research reached by: determine the location of this research, the research methods, selection of informants, the sources and the data types, data collection technique, and the last is process and analyse data. The result of this research shows that the Implementation of Electronic Public Relation through the website with the Government Policy about the disclosure information constitution and the governor policy about the West Java Provincial Government website management. And the West Java Provincial Government website management is consist of planning, management, coordination, empowerment, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Then, for content management is begun with stages of budget planning, segmentation and selection of content. The steps of management content are consist of collect data and data processing, uploading and the final step is evaluation.
