Abstract
INDONESIA : Ring monoid A[M] merupakan salah satu konstruksi dalam teori ring yang dibentuk dari suatu ring komutatif A dan suatu monoid komutatif M. Struktur ini secara alami memiliki bentuk graded monoid ring sehingga sifat-sifat aljabar yang dimilikinya dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik ring dasar maupun monoid penyusunnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakterisasi ring monoid yang bersifat unit additive melalui pendekatan graded monoid ring dan ring monoid berdasarkan hasil penelitian Epstein dan Shapiro (2025). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakterisasi ring monoid yang bersifat unit additive ditentukan oleh keterkaitan antara sifat unit additive pada ring dasar dengan karakterisasi monoid penyusunnya. Lebih lanjut, penggunaan sifat unit additive dan sifat monoid memberikan kriteria yang lebih sederhana dalam menentukan apakah suatu ring monoid memiliki sifat unit additive yang merupakan penjumlahan setiap unit selalu menghasilkan elemen unit atau nilpoten. ENGLISH : A monoid ring A[M] is one of the contructions in ring theory formed from a commutative ring A and a comutative monoid M. This structure naturally possesses an M-graded ring structure, so its algebraic properties are influenced by both the underlying ring and the monoid. This study aims to investigate the characterization of unit additive monoid rings through the approaches of graded monoid graded rings and monoid algebras based on the work of Epstein and Shapiro (2025). The result show that the characterization of unit additive monoid rings is determined by the relationship between the unit additive property of the base ring and the algebraic properties of the underlying monoid. Furthermore, the unit additive property together with the properties of the monoid provides criteria for determining whether a monoid ring is unit additive, that is, whether the sum of any two units is always either a unit or a nilpotent element.
