Abstract

INDONESIA Saat ini kebutuhan informasi terkait destinasi wisata banyak didapatkan melalui berbagai media, salah satunya media televisi melalui tayangan – tayangan yang dikemas dalam bentuk feature perjalanan (feature travelogue). Selama ini tayangan feature perjalanan hanya menampilkan tempat atau destinasi pariwisata jarang menampilkan sisi lain dari tempat tersebut salah satunya kearifan lokal. Sehingga melalui tayangan feature perjalanan masyarakat hanya mengetahui informasi tentang tempat atau destinasi wisatanya saja, padahal masyarakat bisa sekaligus mengetahui dan belajar tentang kearifan lokal yang ada di daerah tersebut. Masalah tersebut menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika terhadap tanda – tanda visual dalam sebuah tayangan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana sebuah tayangan pariwisata merepresentasikan kearifan lokal. Pada 3 Desember 2016 Tayangan My Trip My Adventure Episode Sisi Luar Maumere with Adipati menjadi pembuka awal bulan dipenghujung tahun 2016. Pada episode ini My Trip My Adventure menampilkan pesona alam Maumere dan upacara adat serta produksi kain tenun khas Maumere. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis semiotika triangle meaning Charles Sanders Peirce; sign, object, dan interpretant. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara studi dokumentasi dan studi pustaka serta melakukan wawancara untuk melengkapi data. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan semua data yang diperlukan, menyeleksi data sesuai dengan teori triangle meaning Peirce. Semiotika merupakan ilmu yang mempelajari tentang tanda dan makna dibalik tanda tersebut. Teori Semiotika triangle meaning Charles Sanders Peirce merupakan salah satu teori semiotika yang sering digunakan dalam menemukan makna dibalik tanda visual yang terdapat dalam tayangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tanda – tanda yang terdapat dalam setiap screenshot (potongan gambar) dan SOT (sound on tape) tayangan My Trip My Adventure Episode Sisi Luar Maumere with Adipati merepresentasikan kearifan lokal. Berdasarkan temuan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tayangan My Trip My Adventure tidak hanya menampilkan tempat atau destinasi pariwisata saja tetapi juga merepresentasikan kearifan lokal dan juga ikut serta mensosialisasikan pariwisata sesuai dengan UU NO. 10 Tahun 2009 Tentang Kepariwisataan. ENGLISH Currently, information needs related to many tourist destinations are obtained through various media, one of which the television media through its presentations are packaged in the form of travel feature (travelogue feature). As far, the travelogue feature only shows the location or tourist destinations. It rarely shows the other side of the place one of them is local wisdom. As a result, through the travelogue feature public merely know information about the location or the tourist destination. Whereas the public can at once know and learn about local wisdom in that area. The problem becomes the background of this research by using semiotic analysis of visual signs in the presntation to know the extent a tourism show represents local wisdom. On December 3, 2016 the presentation of My Trip My Adventure Episode The Outside of Maumere with Adipati became the beginning of the month at the end of 2016. In this episode My Trip My Adventure show the natural charm of Maumere and traditional ceremonies as well as the production of Maumere woven fabrics. This research uses semiotics analysis method triangle meaning of Charles Sanders Peirce; Sign, object, and interpretant. Data collecting was done by documentation study and literature study and interview to complete the data. Data analysis is done by collecting all necessary data, selecting data in accordance with Triangle meaning Peirce theory. Semiotics is the study of the sign and meaning behind the sign. Semiotic Theory triangle meaning of Charles Sanders Peirce is one of the semiotics theory that is often used in finding the meaning behind the visual signs contained in the presentation. The results show that the signs contained in each screenshot (image pieces) and SOT (sound on tape) in the presentation of My Trip My Adventure in Episode Outside Maumere with Adipati represents local wisdom. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the My Trip My Adventure show not only the location or the tourist destinations but also represent the local wisdom and also participate in disseminating tourism in accordance with the Law NO. 10 Year 2009 About Tourism.
