Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang menggunakan model Anchored Instruction dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi experimental design atau sering disebut eksperimen semu. Penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posstest experimental control group design yang melibatkan dua kelas yakni kelas VII-2 dengan model Anchored Instruction (AI) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII-1 dengan pembelajaran konvensional sebagai kelas kontrol. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen tes dan nontes. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh: (a) Perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model Anchored Instruction dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional; (b) Perbedaan pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model Anchored Instruction dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional berdasarkan tingkat Pengetahuan Awal Matematika (PAM) dengan kategori tinggi, sedang, dan rendah; (c) Siswa menunjukkan respon positif sebesar 77% terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan model Anchored Instruction berdasarkan karakteristik disposisi matematis. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Anchored Instruction (AI) dapat melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis berdasarkan studi kasus secara visual siswa sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dan dapat meningkatkan disposisi matematis siswa ketika memecahkan masalah matematika. This study aims to determine the difference in increasing students' mathematical problem solving abilities using the Anchored Instruction model with students using conventional learning. The research method used is quasi experimental design or often called quasi-experimental. Quantitative research uses quasi-experimental methods with pretest-posstest experimental control group design that involves two classes, namely class VII-2 with the Anchored Instruction (AI) model as an experimental class and VII-1 with conventional learning as a control class. Data obtained using test and nontest instruments. Based on the results of data processing, it is obtained: (a) The difference in the improvement of mathematical problem solving abilities of students who obtain learning with the Anchored Instruction model with students who obtain conventional learning; (b) Differences in the achievement of mathematical problem solving abilities of students who obtain learning with the Anchored Instruction model with students who obtain conventional learning based on the level of Early Mathematical Knowledge (PAM) with high, medium, and low categories; (c) Students show a 77% positive response to learning using the Anchored Instruction model based on mathematical disposition characteristics. Learning by using the Anchored Instruction (AI) model can train students 'mathematical problem solving abilities based on students' visual case studies so that they can improve students 'mathematical problem solving abilities and can improve students' mathematical dispositions when solving mathematical problems.
