Abstract
INDONESIA : Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan temuan bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran masih menggunakan model konvensional yang mengakibatkan kurangnya kemampuan komunikasi siswa. Hal ini terjadi karena siswa lebih banyak diam dan hanya mendengarkan materi yang disampaikan oleh guru sehingga siswa tidak banyak terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dilakukan proses pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari model group investigation (GI) terhadapa kemampuan komunikasi siswa kelas IV MI Husainiyah pada Tema Indahnya Keragaman di Negeriku Subtema Indahnya Keragaman Budaya di Negeriku. Model group investigation (GI) merupakan model pembelajaran yang menekankan pada partisipasi siswa untuk mencari sendiri materi pembelajaran bersama kelompoknya sehingga siswa akan saling bekerjasama dan melakukan komunikasi untuk menyelesaikan tugas yang guru berikan. Model ini dapat mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa dengan siswa lainnya maupun dengan guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). penelitian ini berlangsung selama dua siklus dan didalam setiap siklus terdapat dua tindakan yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi. Subjek yang dijadikan penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV MI Husainiyah yang berjumalah 25 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan bahwa penerapan model group investigation (GI) terlaksana dengan baik. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya peningkatan presentase aktivitas siswa dan guru dalam setiap pelaksanaan adapun presentase aktivitas siswa pada siklus I tindakan I sebesar 82,35%, pada tindakan II sebesar 92,85%. Sedangkan pada siklus II tindakan I mengalami peningkatan sebesar 100% dan pada tindakan II sebesar 100%. Adapun hasil presentase aktivitas guru pada siklus I tindakan I sebesar 70,58% , dalam tindakan ke II sebesar 94,44%. Pada siklus II tindakan I sebesar 100% dan pada tindakan II sebesar 100%. Nilai presentase komunikasi siswa pada prasiklus yaitu sebanyak 40,06% kemudian mengalami peningkatan presentase nilai keterampilan komunikasi siswa dengan menggunakan model group investigation (GI), pada siklus I sebesar 63,78% dan pada siklus II nilai presentase sebesar 82,03%. ENGLISH : This research is motivated by the findings that in the learning process still uses conventional models that result in a lack of student communication skills. This happens because students are more silent and only listen to the material delivered by the teacher so that students are not much involved in the learning process. To overcome these problems, a learning process is carried out that can improve students' communication skills. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of the group investigation (GI) model on the communication skills of fourth grade MI Husainiyah students on the Beautiful Theme of Diversity in My Country The Beautiful Subtema of Cultural Diversity in My Country. The group investigation (GI) model is a learning model that emphasizes student participation in searching for learning materials together with the group so students will cooperate with each other and communicate to complete the assignment the teacher gives. This model can develop student communication skills with other students as well as with teachers. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research lasted for two cycles and in each cycle there were two actions consisting of the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques using observation. The subjects used as research are students of class IV MI Husainiyah with a total of 25 students. Based on the results of research that has been done that the implementation of the group investigation (GI) model is well implemented. This can be seen from an increase in the percentage of student and teacher activity in each implementation while the percentage of student activity in the first cycle of action I amounted to 82.35%, in action II amounted to 92.85%. Whereas in cycle II, action I increased by 100% and in action II by 100%. The results of the percentage of teacher activity in the first cycle of action I amounted to 70.58%, in the second act amounted to 94.44%. In cycle II, action I was 100% and in action II it was 100%. The percentage of students 'communication percentage in pre-cycle that is 40.06% then increased the percentage of students' communication skills value using the group investigation (GI) model, in cycle I was 63.78% and in cycle II the percentage value was 82.03%.
