Abstract

ENGLISH: In this study the writer discusses the trauma experienced by the main character in the Antwone Fisher movie script. The research focuses on the form of trauma experienced by the main character, Antwone Fisher. in this study it was formulated in four research questions: 1). What kinds of trauma are in the Antwone Fisher movie script?, 2). What causes of Antwone Fisher are in childhood trauma?, 3). What are the effects of trauma experienced by Antwone Fisher?, and 4). How does Antwone Fisher apply self defense mechanism to eliminate his anxiety?. This study analyzes the trauma experienced by Antwone Fisher, the author uses Sigmund Freud's theory which discusses Id, Ego, and Super Ego. In this film script, there are many elements of personality development and the writer finds that the main character's self-development phase is inseparable from the roles of those who are nearby. This research obtained data through research methodology. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data is obtained by identifying, classifying and making conclusions. In addition, in this study, the author uses the method of literary criticism using a psychoanalysis approach. The results of this study found 37 data. The results of this study are, 1) Antwone Fisher has three types of trauma, namely post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma from loneliness and trauma from sexual abuse. 2) the cause of childhood trauma Antwone Fisher is sexual abuse, physical abuse and verbal abuse. 3) the effect of Antwone Fisher's trauma is mood swings, emotional irritably, anger and anxiety. And the last is 4) Antwone Fisher did repression and displacement to eliminate his anxiety. INDONESIA: Pada penelitian ini penulis membahas mengenai trauma yang dialami oleh karakter utama dalam naskah film Antwone Fisher. Penelitian berfokus pada bentuk trauma yang dialami oleh karakter utama yaitu Antwone Fisher. dalam penelitian ini hal tersebut dirumuskan dalam empat research question: 1). Apa jenis trauma yang ada dalam naskah film Antwone Fisher?, 2). Apa saja penyebab trauma masa kecil yang dialami oleh Antwone Fisher?, 3). Apa saja pengaruh dari trauma yang dialami Antwone Fisher? dan 4). Bagaimana Antwone Fisher mengaplikasikan mekanisme pertahanan diri untuk menghilangkan kecemasan yang dia alami?. Penelitian ini menganalisis trauma yang dialami oleh Antwone Fisher, penulis menggunakan teori Sigmund Freud yang membahas mengenai Id, Ego, dan Super Ego. Dalam naskah film ini, banyak sekali unsur-unsur perkembangan kepribadian dan penulis menemukan bahwa fase perkembangan diri karakter utama tidak terlepas dari peran orang-orang yang ada di dekatnya. Penelitian ini mendapatkan data melalui metodologi penelitian. Adapun metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data tersebut diperoleh dengan cara mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasi, dan membuat kesimpulan. Selain itu dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode kritik sastra dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikoanalisis. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan 37 data. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu, 1) Antwone Fisher memiliki tiga jenis trauma yaitu post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma atas kesepian dan trauma atas pelecehan seksual. 2) penyebab trauma masa kecil Antwone Fisher adalah sexual abuse, physical abuse dan verbal abuse. 3) pengaruh dari trauma Antwone Fisher adalah mood swings, emotional irritably, anger and anxiety. Dan yang terakhir adalah 4) Antwone Fisher melakukan repression and displacement untuk menghilangkan kecemasannya.
