Abstract
Mahasiswa psikologi pada fase perkembangannya dihadapkan dengan berbagai tantangan tugas perkembangan sekaligus beban tugas perkuliahan termasuk menjalani praktikum yang wajib dilakukan. Dengan stereotip dapat memecahkan segala permasalahan membuat mahasiswa psikologi sering dijadikan tempat cerita. Namun, kadang kala terdapat perbedaan antara bagaimana mahasiswa psikologi memperlakukan orang lain ketika menderita dan bagaimana ketika diri sendiri yang merasakannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh self-compassion dan social support terhadap self-acceptance pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif kausalitas dengan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan sampel sebanyak 254 mahasiswa yang diambil dari teknik purposive random sampling. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion dan social support berpengaruh terhadap self-acceptance secara signifikan sebesar 56,9% pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Self-compassion dan social support juga berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap self-acceptance. Psychology students in their developmental phase are faced with various challenges of developmental tasks as well as the burden of lecture assignments including undergoing mandatory practicums. Stereotypes can solve all problems, making psychology students often used as a place for stories. However, sometimes there is a difference between how psychology students treat others when they are suffering and how they feel about themselves. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of self-compassion and social support on self-acceptance in the students of the Faculty of PsychologyUIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The method used in this study is quantitative causality with multiple linear regression analysis with a sample of 254 students taken from purposive random sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that self-compassion and social support have a significant effect on self-acceptance by 56.9% for students of the Faculty of Psychology UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Self-compassion and social support also partially affect self-acceptance.
