Abstract

INDONESIA : Tujun penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran konsep diri pada remaja perokok di SMP Al Islam Bandung. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 4 orang remaja laki- laki yang merokok di SMP AL Islam Bandung. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Teori konsep diri yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah teori W.H Fitts (1971), fenomena yang didapatkan oleh peneliti adalah adanya masalah menegai perilaku merokok yang terjadi pada remaj laki- laki SMP AL Islam Bandung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ini adalah wawancara, catatan observasi dan alat bantu (alat tulis dan type recorder).Hasil analisis dari wawancara di dapat 3 orang remaja yang memiliki konsep diri (+) karena ada faktor dalm dirinya yang mulai kecanduan untuk merokok serta memiliki kepercayaan diri yang tinggi, dan didapatkan 4 orang remaja yang memiliki konsep diri (-) subjek ini ia merasa sulit dalam pemahaman dirinya yang tidak dapat menyelesaikan masalah dalam hidupnya dan ia juga memiliki kepercayaan diri yang rendah. ENGLISH : The existence of semoking among teenagers that occurs around schools is one of the researchers' choices for the phenomenon that exists in the form of smoking behavior among teenage boys, which when smoking they feel calmer and can relieve stress. So this researcher aims toknowing the picture of self-concept in adolescent smokers in SMP AL Islam Bandung. This study used a descriptive qualitative method, based on the theory of Fitts (1971). The number of subjects used were 4 teenage boys. Analysis techniquethe data used isinterviews, observation notes and tools (stationery and type recorder). The results of the analysis show that there is a picture of the self-concept of adolescent smokersthere are as many as 3 people who have a self-concept (+) and 1 person has a self-concept (-).
