Abstract
Indonesia: Mahasiswa pada dasarnya memerlukan dukungan satu sama lain agar dapat saling memberikan motivasi dalam menyelesaikan akademik nya, dukungan sosial teman sebaya adalah salah satu upaya teman kerabat yang setara yang dapat memberikan dampak yang positif dalam ranah akademik agar terhindar dari gangguan psikologis stres akademik, stres akademik merupakan ketegangan emosional yang dirasakan seseorang saat menghadapi tuntutan dalam hal akademik yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap fisik dan psikis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan stres akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di universitas islam negeri sunan gunung djati bandung. Metode penelitan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dan teknik sampling convenience sampling. Responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 177 mahasiswa tingkat akhir UIN SGD. Analisis yang digunakan ialah analisis korelasi pearson product moment. Hal ini menunjukan dukungan sosial teman sebaya memiliki hubungan negative dengan stres akademik. English: Students basically need support from each other in order to provide each other with motivation in completing their academics, social support from peers is one of the equal efforts of friends and relatives which can have a positive impact in the academic realm in order to avoid psychological disorders, academic stress, academic stress is The emotional tension that a person feels when facing academic demands which can have an impact on the physical and psychological. This study aims to determine the relationship between peer social support and academic stress in final year students at the Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University, Bandung. The research method used is a quantitative correlational approach and convenience sampling technique. The respondents in this study were 177 final year students at UIN SGD. The analysis used is Pearson product moment correlation analysis. This shows that peer social support has a negative relationship with academic stress.
