Abstract
Learning is a process in which students interact with educators and learning resources in the learning environment. The behavior of students' direct involvement in the learning process is expected to be able to realize activeness both individually and in groups. The research aims to describe the implementation, analyze critical thinking skills, analyze the effect, describe student responses, and analyze the effect of the Numbered Head Together type of cooperative learning model with the help of question cards on students' critical thinking skills on the excretory system material. The research method used is a quasi-experimental research design with Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument in the form of description questions amounted to 15 items in the pretest and posttest. The results showed that the average value of the students' implementation was 96.65% in the very good category and the teacher 96.65% in the very good category. The students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class obtained an average pretest score of 45.75 with a poor category and an average posttest score of 81.80 in a very good category. Meanwhile, in the control class, the average pretest score was 54.99 in the poor category and the posttest average was 68.94 in the good category. Student responses to learning using NHT assisted by question cards averaged 74.58% with a strong category. It can be concluded that the Numbered Head Together type of cooperative learning model with the help of question cards has an effect on critical thinking skills in the excretory system material by obtaining a tcount value of 4.141 > ttable 1.993 at a significant level of 5%. Pembelajaran adalah proses dimana siswa berinteraksi dengan pendidik dan sumber belajar dalam lingkungan belajar. Perilaku keterlibatan siswa secara langsung dalam proses pembelajaran diharapkan dapat mewujudkan keaktifan baik secara individual maupun kelompok. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan, menganalisis keterampilan berpikir kritis, menganalisis pengaruh, mendeskripsikan respon siswa, dan menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together berbantu question cards terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sistem ekskresi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan purposive sampling. Insrumen penelitian berupa soal uraian berjumlah 15 butir soal pada pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai keterlaksanaan siswa 96,65% dengan kategori sangat baik dan guru 96,65% dengan kategori sangat baik. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest 45,75 dengan kategori kurang dan nilai rata-rata posttest 81,80 kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh rata-rata nilai pretest 54,99 kategori kurang dan nilai rata-rata posttest 68,94 kategori baik. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan NHT berbantu question cards rata-rata 74,58% dengan kategori kuat. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together berbantu question cards berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi sistem ekskresi dengan memperoleh nilai thitung 4,141 > ttabel 1,993 pada taraf signifikan 5%.
