Abstract

Di zaman teknologi yang pesat ini, film banyak dijadikan sebagai alat komunikasi. Sebagai media massa berbentuk audio visual ini mempunyai sarat dan makna tertentu dalam menyampaikan pesan yang lebih efektif. Salah satunya dari film Bilal A New Breed of Hero ini, yang mempunyai jalan cerita yang lebih utama dari segi akhlak terpuji dalam memperjuangkan Akidah dan melawan perbudakan Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjawab mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan Akidah akhlak di dalam filmnya serta relevansinya yang berkaitan dengan materi Akidah akhlak ditingkat SD/MI sederajat. Peneliti menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif bersifat deskriptif analisis dan menggunakan teknik analisis isi dengan menerapkan teori semiotika Roland Barthes yang menjelaskan analisis gambar dan dialognya, menganalisis makna dari tanda-tanda yang terfokus terhadap signifikasi makna denotasi dan konotasi. Hasil peneltiannya adalah makna denotasi dari objek yang diteliti yakni menampilkan berbagai nilai-nilai pada Akidah akhlaknya mengenai taat, sabar, ikhlas, penyayang, tanggung jawab, dan pemberani. Sedangkan makna konotasinya menjunjung tinggi ketauhidan dan perilaku terpuji. Serta nilai-nilai tersebut mempunyai kerelevansian dengan materi ajaran Akidah akhlak ditingkat SD/MI sederajat. ENGLISH: In this era of rapid technology, films are often used as a communication tool. As mass media in the form of audio-visual, it has certain content and meaning in conveying messages more effectively. One of them is Bilal's film A New Breed of Hero, which has a storyline that is more important in terms of commendable morals in fighting for the Aqidah and fighting slavery. The aim of this research is to answer the educational values of moral beliefs in the film and their relevance in relation to the material on moral beliefs at the elementary/secondary level and equivalent. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive analytical approach and used content analysis techniques by applying Roland Barthes' semiotic theory which explains the analysis of images and dialogue, analyzing the meaning of signs which focuses on the significance of denotation and connotation. The results of the research are the denotational meaning of the object under study, namely displaying various values in the moral creed regarding obedience, patience, sincerity, compassion, responsibility and courage. Meanwhile, the connotation means upholding monotheism and commendable behavior. And these values have relevance to the teaching material of moral beliefs at the elementary/secondary level and equivalent.
