Abstract

Indonesia : Pembelajaran berbasis masalah penting untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa memecahkan masalah, model project based learning menjadi solusi siswa menemukan dan memecahkan masalah secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh model project based learning pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan. Metode penelitian ini kuasi eksperimen desain penelitian non equivalen control group design. Variabel bebas penelitian ini model project based learning, sedangkan variabel terikatnya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Pengambilan sampling dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, 24 siswa pada kelas yang tidak menggunakan model project based learning dan 29 pada kelas yang menggunakan model. Data dianalisis menggunakan N-Gain dan analisis statistik non-parametrik, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain kelas dengan dan tanpa menggunakan model project based learning sebesar 0,49 kategori sedang dan 0,22 kategori kurang. Nilai uji normalitas kelas dengan dan tanpa menggunakan model project based learning sebesar 0,03 dan 0,18 maka dinyatakan tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney didapatkan sebesar 0,01 maka HO ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan penelitian maka penggunaan model project based learning direkomendasikan bagi guru pada pembelajaran IPA dalam kelas. English: Problem-based learning is important to improve students' ability to solve problems, models be a solution for students to find and solve problems independently. This research aims to analyze the influence of the model project based learning on improving student learning outcomes regarding the interaction of living things with the environment. Method is a quasi-experimental research designnon equivalen control group design. The independent variable in this research is the model, while the dependent variable is an increase student learning outcomes. Sampling was carried out using techniquespurposive sampling, 24 students class who did not use the model project based learning and 29 class use the model. Data were analyzed using N-Gain and non-parametric statistical analysis. The research results show the average value N-Gain classes with and without using modelsproject based learning amounting to 0,49 in the moderate category and 0,22 in the poor category. Class normality test values with and without using the model project based learning of 0,03 and 0,18, then it is declared not normally distributed. Test resultsMann-Whitney obtained is 0,01, then HO rejected and H1 accepted. Based on research, the use of the project based learning model is recommended for the teachers in science learning in the classroom.
